ALL ABOUT IMP—
What makes the Inspired Memorys experience different from other photographers? Jen Memory has the refreshing ability to take what could be a stressful experience and make it easy. As one recent client said, “Jen Memory is fantastic. Not only is she extremely talented and creative, but she has such a kind, welcoming, and happy spirit. I felt instantly comfortable with Jen which allowed me to be myself and have some fun during our shoot. She really does go above and beyond.” Jen’s personality immediately puts her clients at ease. She is outgoing, down to earth, flexible, and creative. Her goal is to capture the best of her clients and to do almost anything to get the perfect shot. She is skilled at giving direction and making helpful suggestions with regard to poses and wardrobe. She is very invested in each client, taking her time to make sure that she is focusing on the emotion of each moment. Jen will always confirm your “must-have” shots at the beginning of the session and listen to your feedback. She wants each photograph to capture the emotion of the moment.
Inspired Memorys aims to capture the story of your special occasion and to create a fresh and modern photographic work of art which you will treasure for years to come.
Jen studied photography at the Sawtooth School for Visual Art where one of her photographs was selected for the Annual Fall Student Show. Mentored by well-known photographer Carisa Chee, Jen has been named as one the Top 100 senior photographers across the globe by Senior Style Guide in 2015 and 2017, won Favorite Local Photographer for Triad Moms on Main, and has been featured and nominated on countless senior blogs, as well as the Winston-Salem Journal. She also was just featured in the Winston-Salem Monthly Magazine for her senior photography. She feels blessed to live in the historic city of Winston-Salem NC where sites such as Old Salem, Tanglewood Park, and the Reynolda House Museum of American Art are incredibly beautiful all year-round.
When not taking photographs, Jen spends time with her brand new baby girl Avery, husband George, and two dogs, Maggie and Murphy.
“The feeling I get when I turn the camera around and show a client what they look like for the first time. I have had girls, moms, and dads tear up.
It makes everything I do so worth it.”
